                                                                  THE WAR VII

Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire once said, “If you want to know who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.”   Feminism.   The mere mention of the word makes me queasy and apprehensive, and I have been in 3 wars.  Why am I afraid?  Does a philosophy called feminism, an ethereal substance, want to harm me?  Elaine Donnelly, Founder and President of the Center for Military Readiness, labels this phenomenon, “Fem Fear.”  Jackie Anderson Christensen, Founder of Mrs. Conservative and PolitiChicks Contributor, says that the rogue feminist nature is totalitarian.  She says feminism has laid claim to the “right” of unrestrained emotional rage (for any and all perceived offences) and it will not tolerate dissent.  Her exact words, “The rogue female nature (feminism) has created this "I’M OFFENDED" atmosphere where groups can attempt to take power.”  So let the questions be asked, why is there so much emotion revolving around feminism and what is feminism really, if it is not a worldview?  And what is a worldview really, if it is not a religion?  A religion is, by definition, a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects.  In other words, a religion is a worldview held by a collective group.

Conservative Christian Viewpoint (CCV) has not dared to pen a blog on feminism, until now.  This is due in no small part to perceived Fem Fear, therefore let us carefully define Fem Fear.  Fem Fear is that politically based, emotionally manipulated anti male rage which is eagerly desirous of total control.  Fem Fear is that spiritual, estrogenic substance that perceives oppression, seeks revenge and will not tolerate dissent.  It is a counterfeit f
orm of righteous rage that unleashes its full wrath on anyone and everyone that dares to spit on the golden calf of radical egalitarianism, political correctness and/or feminism.  It is a spirit and it is real.  Pastor and Author Francis Frangipane, The Three Battlegrounds, actually names it.  He calls it Jezebel and he says Jezebel is all about control.  She is a master manipulator.  Frangipane says Jezebel hates men and distrusts women.  Jezebel cannot have a true Godly relationship with men, because her underlying desire is to strip them of all their perceived power and then destroy them--to emasculate them emotionally and spiritually.  Also, she is generally distrustful of or indifferent towards women - unless they are useful to gain power, or are themselves powerful, so lasting friendships are rare.  He writes,

There is a war, a very ancient war, between the spirit of Elijah and the spirit of Jezebel. In this age-old battle, Elijah represents the voice of Heaven: the call to repentance and the return to God. Jezebel, on the other hand, embodies that unique principality whose purpose is to hinder and defeat the work of repentance. Its goal is to silence the prophetic call.  To understand the conflict between the Elijah spirit and the spirit of Jezebel, we must understand these two adversaries as they are seen in the Scriptures. Each is the spiritual counterpart of the other. Is Elijah bold? Jezebel is brazen. Is Elijah ruthless toward evil? Jezebel is vicious toward righteousness. Does Elijah speak of the ways and words of God? Jezebel is full of systems of witchcraft and words of deceit.

Feminism, like much of the liberal agenda, on the surface is about equality, but if one scratches just beneath the surface, one finds something very different – something very disturbing.  While many well meaning and idealistic young feminists may have been very much in favor of justice based liberation, the radical le
aders of the feminist movement are about anything but.  I have seen it and experienced it.  How many ways can one interpret the intent of women like University of Michigan Law School Professor Catherine MacKinnon – one of the world's leading feminists?  Her work has changed laws and the interpretation of sexual assault in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Israel, Bosnia, Croatia and India.  In 1986, the Supreme Court based a decision using her definition of sexual harassment and in Meritor Savings Bank v. Vinson held that sexual harassment was sex discrimination.  Ms. MacKinnon has stated that, "In a patriarchal society all heterosexual intercourse is rape because women , as a group, are not strong enough to give consent."  (For more on the madness of rape culture, click here.)

Is this an isolated statement or sentiment?  Hardly.  Is it true; did she actually say that?  Ah yep.  Are there other statements from leading feminists like it?   Right again Buffalo Bob.  One of the main problems with feminism is that it exploits the legitimate claims of equal rights as a cloak to usher in its divisive and neurotic interests – interests that are plainly anti-male and not at all about equal rights.  For example, here are some quotes from famous feminists:

·    “I feel that ‘man-hating’ is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them.”  – Robin Morgan, Ms. Magazine Editor
·    “To call a man an animal is to flatter him; he’s a machine, a walking dildo.”  -– Valerie Solanas
·    “I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig.” — Andrea Dworkin
·    “Rape is nothing more or less than a conscious process of intimidation by which all men keep all women in a state of fear.” — Susan Brownmiller
·    “The more famous and powerful I get the more power I have to hurt men.” — Sharon Stone
·    “Men who are unjustly accused of rape can sometimes gain from the experience.” – Catherine Comins
·    “All men are rapists and that’s all they are.” — Marilyn French
·    “Probably the only place where a man can feel really secure is in a maximum security prison, except for the imminent threat of release.” — Germaine Greer.
·    “The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race.”    Sally Miller Gearhart

The quotations above are taken from Kelly Mac’s blog.  Kelly is ‘a woman against feminism’ because of its anti-male agenda.  She calls Feminism a “Hate Group.”  You can read more of her blog here.  Kelly says, “If you’re going to say feminism is not a man-hating movement, I’m going to have to insist that you provide links either to sites showing feminists condemning the statements listed above, or feminists telling women to respect men as men.”  She says it is amazing how so many people, including men in pulpits, continue to turn a blind-eye to the harm that feminism is doing – typically excusing it with something along the lines of, “but… Not all feminists are like that!”  Perhaps it’s a state of denial – such as when discovering what you had hoped was true is in fact a lie.  Here is some relevant YouTube commentary that further discusses the above, click on link.

Feminism has now reached a significant milestone – the 50th anniversary of the publication of Betty Friedan’s paradigm breaking/ paradigm establishing manifesto, The Feminine Mystique.  Thus we can now reflect on its broad impacts (no pun intended).  From the time that Gloria Steinem “bravely” declared that, “A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle,” the feminist message has spread like wild fire.  Fueled by many factors, we now live in a world that has been altered.  To be perfectly honest, we live in a world that is neutered.  Some would argue it has been altered for the better, and others would argue it has been castrated to its ultimate demise.  Which is the truth?  Why is western civilization demonstrably declining?   I submit that the answer to that question is not debatable; it is a statistical fact.  We are declining due to low birth rate, but the totality of that discussion will have to wait for another blog.  Our anemic societal birth rate – a statistical fact and demonstrable societal death knell – is a reflection of an anti child, self absorbed society.  And that self absorbed anti child, anti family movement is a close cousin to feminism and its holy grail, abortion on demand.

The end goal of the Feminist spirit is to destroy true freedom by subtly outlawing and perverting the very image of God in man.  It is anti patriarchy at heart.  It has cunningly and deftly set itself against the ultimate Patriarch Himself.  It’s religion and premises attack God’s first and greatest societal construct, the family.  Among the great false premises of feminism is the assumption that traditional gender roles are societal constructs and therefore not God given.  When this lie is digested by society at large (as it has been), men tend to lose their God given masculinity and chivalry dies; women tend to lose their God given femininity and civility dies.  Our world is in the throes of an ever increasing viciousness and incivility.  Jackie Anderson Christensen says, “Every feminist issue is supported by hyper-emotion.  It's the source of the over use of the word 'BIGOT.’”  According to the
US Department of Justice, Domestic violence in the US is now defined by how a woman “feels.”  This includes actions by a male that may "intimidate, manipulate, humiliate, isolate, frighten, terrorize, coerce, threaten, blame, hurt, injure, or wound someone.”  Given the freedom and legal right to emotionally terrorize, is it any wonder why terms like Fem Fear are perceived as real?  Fem Fear is real; it’s actually more along the lines of Fem Terror – utilizing rage and manipulation as its weapons of choice.
The great lie of feminism states that men and women are precisely the same with the only real difference being genetic plumbing.  That lie has been so effective that it now influences significant legal decisions, national defense policy, and it permeates every strata of society, even the church.  You can feel its pressure, and see its impact.  Why are nutty movies like Fight Club considered cult classics?  Because they (in their own desperate and dysfunctional way) touch in men’s hearts, something that has been lost, the warrior within.  Why is “The Twilight Saga” so popular with women?  Because it (in its own dysfunctional way) touches the part of a woman’s heart she desires most, namely to be cherished.  Feminism has driven a hard granite wedge between the genders and the very things they desire (and need) the most.  These are the very gifts God wanted to give to his beloved men and women, lovingly from and to one another, within the bonds of marriage and family.

Freedom cannot stand long when the prevailing societal worldview is directly at odds with reality.  Conservative Author Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, wrote, “You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”  True feminism ignores reality with a religious, cult like fervor.  And now the consequences of this cultish behavior -- in ignoring reality -- are visiting America.  This visitation is a spirit of internal strife and clashing worldviews so stark that “red states” and “blue states” are more clearly defined than ever before.  The end result of this ideological war, as has been the case on far too many occasions, is that the church of Jesus Christ, in its efforts to maintain members, does all in its power to remain culturally relevant and seeker friendly.  Therefore it seems to increasingly avoid preaching on the hard truths of God.  This leads to a sugar coated message and a grossly compromised church that is nothing more than the attempted splicing of Christianity with anti Christian philosophy/ religion such as feminism.  The final product is a powerless, irrelevant, neutered church and a radically altered collective unconscious of American society.  We simply do not look at gender through the lens of Divine reality anymore.  And because of it, genders are sometimes literally becoming reversed.  People are single and lonely and men are refusing to marry because of the feminist empowered War on Men (Fox News Article).  According to at least one author, “Women aren’t women anymore.”  Led by radicals, women have gone to war with their own souls, even to the extent where they are fighting, sometimes passionately, for the “freedom” to kill the very thing that makes them women – their God given ability to become a mother.

                                                                   THE WAR VI

Today marks 40th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton Supreme Court decisions that have effectively legalized the quiet holocaust – the abortion holocaust in America.  That marks 40 years, or one generation – of it being legal to kill unborn children.  Over the last 40 years, roughly 57 Million babies have been aborted for any reason or for no reason at all using any procedure deemed desirable for all 9 months of pregnancy.  Abortion is not a social or a political issue.  This is a profoundly ethical, <<READ MORE>>

What will America look like, feel like, smell like, and sound like on the day after the election, Wednesday, November 7th?  Will there be significant civil unrest regardless of which candidate prevails?  Looking at the state of the nation, the thinking person has to honestly wonder.  No matter who wins the coming election, we will still have a 16 Trillion dollar debt hanging over our heads, and our children’s heads.  <<READ MORE>>

As I was out and about one day visiting various troops and personnel in Afghanistan, I found myself looking through an amazing piece of technology known as the “Eye in the Sky.”  The Eye in the Sky is a simple balloon with a very high powered camera which is utilized for surveillance.  Now the Eye in the Sky can see from great distances, and it can observe all kinds of things.  It is Orwellian in a manner of speaking; big brother is indeed watching you.  <<READ MORE>>

In 1982, Ronald Reagan said, "Our military strength is a prerequisite to peace, but let it be clear we maintain this strength in the hope it will never be used, for the ultimate determinant in the struggle that's now going on in the world will not be bombs and rockets but a test of wills and ideas, a trial of spiritual resolve, the values we hold, the beliefs we cherish, the ideals to which we are dedicated."  CCA asks the question: Are we losing the test of wills, the battleground for character?  <<READ MORE>>

In 1996, I was invited to a luncheon that made a long lasting impression.  It was a local civic luncheon in Bonham, Texas, where I was living and working.  They were honoring the DFYT (Drug Free Youth in Texas) at this particular luncheon.  And as I sat and listened to the young man who represented the DFYT, with all due respect to the DFYT and to the many good things it stands for, I couldn't help thinking ... what's so great about not being on drugs?  <<READ MORE>>

Why do the far left hate and what exactly do they hate?  Why do outspoken liberals and critics such as:  Bill Mahr (Religulous), Alec Baldwin, Chris Matthews, Katie Couric, Barbara Streisand, Joy Behar, Richard Dawkins (The God Delusion) and the list goes on, (from all outward appearances), hate conservatives and Christians?  Why do they promise to “leave the country,” as several did before George W. Recently CCA had an unusual conversation with a Christian Brother; the conversation was related to the political homosexual movement.  I advocated limiting the proliferation of this movement via common sense laws and policies.  My brother’s position was unclear.  I gathered from his tone that he was not on the side of legally limiting said behavior.  We debated via email and I made the following assertions:  Homosexuality is not a race or a sex; it never has been.  It is a behavior<<READ MORE>>

Recently, over the Christmas holidays, I was driving home happily and listening to the Sean Hannity radio show.  Because we were in the heart of the Christmas season and I was listening to an iconic conservative talk show, I expected to hear cogent, logical, and perhaps even inspirational conservative thought.  This particular show was being led by a guest host (not Sean Hannity, but presumably a colleague).  A caller was speaking to this host about the recent repeal of the Military’s “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” Policy (DADT), and the show’s host mocked him by saying, “What’s wrong with Sodomy?”  The host went on to dismiss the caller’s concerns as “silly.”  <<READ MORE>>

Where were you when the world stopped turning?   That is the question of the day.  It is also the name of an Alan Jackson song about that terrible day, nine years ago.  There are a few events that are so significant and impactful in world history, whereas, when they happen, almost any given person can tell where they were and what they were doing when it happened.  The assassination of JFK (if you are old enough to remember), the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan, and the Terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 are among those days.  We are now nearly a decade removed from that terrible day and it seems that many may have missed the message and meaning of the day. <<READ MORE>>

We live in a haunted world.  Never before in the history of the Republic have so many with so much in their power felt so threatened.  The world and its power centers are more tightly coupled than ever before.  The future is uncertain and the collective unconscious of America feels it keenly.  The economy is erratic and unstable.  Pornography streams into our homes like crack cocaine via the internet and cable TV.  Homosexuality and its myriad of predatorial perversions are more militant than ever before and it threatens our children directly.  The traditional nuclear family is rapidly becoming a relic.  <<READ MORE>>

                                                        WAKE UP AMERICA PART II

Abortion.  The mere mention of the word causes almost instant polarization.  It is the quiet holocaust of our time.  On January 22, 1973, The US Supreme Court legalized, and in many ways societally legitimized abortion.  Stating that a woman may abort her pregnancy for any reason, up until the "point at which the fetus becomes 'viable,'" the “Justices” ignored and usurped the foundations of our Constitution.  Volumes could be – and have been – written about the atrocious Roe v. Wade decision.  This post asks a simple question: Where is the voice of the American church in legalized abortion? <<READ MORE>>

Ronald Reagan, in perhaps his best and most memorable speech (now known as “The Speech” or   “A Time for Choosing” click to watch ), started by stating, “I have spent most of my life as a Democrat. I recently have seen fit to follow another course.  I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines.”  As Reagan so rightly observed a generation ago, the issues that confront America today cross party lines; they affect each and every one of us – all the way down to our children and our children’s children.  The seriousness of our issues goes beyond the traditional left versus right politically; our issues are up versus down, and life versus death in regards to our very survival as a people. <<READ MORE>>

Please Join Us As We Fight.  Take a Stand Today:

1.      Call your elected representative and get involved now.  Take a few minutes and let them know what you think about the issues you care about today.  Let them hear your voice about illegal immigration, government run healthcare and the many other issues that we all currently face.  The Capitol Hill switchboard number is: (202) 224-3121,  or toll free at 1-877-851-6437.   It only takes a few minutes to make a call, and your vote does matter.  Remember in the year 2000, that the President of the United States was elected by 537 votes in Florida.  The margin of victory was 0.0092%.  For every one person who actually calls or writes their elected leaders, there are generally hundreds, if not thousands that he or she is speaking for.  Remember to always be polite, respectful and to the point when calling.

   2.   If you have not already done so, REGISTER, click on link and take advantage

of your precious right to VOTE.  Voting is more than a right, it is a duty and a

privilege.  Stay informed of the issues and carefully consider who and what you are voting for.

3.      Get yourself and your family involved in a decent church.  There are no perfect churches, but there are decent ones out there.  Find one and remember that God requires us to keep holy the Sabbath Day.  Church attendance is a benefit and blessing of a free society, and it is a basic human need.  Do not take this freedom lightly or one day it may be gone.

4.   Support your local candidate or run for office yourself.  Want change for the better?  Make it happen.  Take time to visit your local party headquarters when it matters most – immediately prior to an important election.

5.      Watch out for your neighbors, and help them when there in genuine need.  Like it or not, we are our brother’s keeper, and that implies moral obligation to those in need.

6.      Get involved in worthwhile causes and para-church organizations such as the Manhattan Declaration and so many others that are fighting for liberty and the common good of humanity.  Getting involved can be a lot easier that it seems and with the internet at your fingertips, one can "get involved" in about 5 minutes.  Your voice counts!

7.      Speak out whenever an opportunity presents itself.  Let your voice be heard; be salt and light.  Comment on news stories; write letters to the editor.  We are convinced there is a quiet multitude in this country who will not speak because of the fear of ridicule.  Speak out boldly anyway; and especially if you know in your heart that you are right, and you might just wind up turning a few heads in the right direction.

8.      Live your life like your influence matters.  It does.  You cannot change the entire world, but you definitely can change your little corner of it.

9.      Pray and believe in God.  Make a conscious decision to have faith in His eventual triumph over all powers of darkness (both personally and corporately).

10.  If you are married, love your mate; stay faithful in word and deed.  If single, love your Creator, and seek a mate if you wish.  Live a life of integrity.

11.  Love your children.  Raise them up with godly wisdom and discipline.  Keep them from the horrible influences that are now so pervasive in the culture.  They truly are the future.

12.  Live for God first and foremost.  Live for a purpose that is greater than yourself.  As Saint Francis of Assisi once said, “Preach the Gospel always – if necessary use words.”  Remember that there are no small rolls in God’s Kingdom.  As Martin Luther so rightly observed: “A woman spinning at the wheel or a man plowing in the field are no less spiritual than a monk praying.”
